Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Effective date: May 30, 2026
1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Claimory LLC ("Claimory," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the website located at claimory.io and across the Service. It consolidates, in one place, the same disclosures described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy and presented in the cookie-consent banner. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given to them in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this Policy.
2. What We Collect
We use three categories of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies load on every visit. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you give consent.
- Strictly Necessary: Session, security, CSRF protection, theme preference, and your cookie-consent state. These load on every visit and are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, plus Claimory's own first-party analytics that stays on Claimory infrastructure. These capture page views, scroll depth, and click events to help us understand how the Service is used. We configure them to minimize personal data, but this is pseudonymous usage data rather than fully anonymous. They are loaded only with your consent.
- Marketing: Google Ads conversion tracking, including Enhanced Conversions, which sends a hashed version of your email address to Google to measure ad-driven signups. These load only after you accept marketing cookies.
3. Where It Goes
Necessary data stays on Claimory infrastructure (US-region Supabase Postgres, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher). Analytics data is sent to Google under its data processing agreement; Claimory's own first-party analytics stays on Claimory infrastructure. We never sell your data for money. If you enable marketing cookies, Google Ads identifiers (and, for Enhanced Conversions, a hashed version of your email) are shared with Google to measure our own advertising, which California law may treat as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; advertising cookies stay off until you opt in. The full list of sub-processors who may receive analytics or related data is published on our Sub-Processors page.
4. Your Rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer, or by clicking the button in Section 6 below. EU and UK visitors have the GDPR right to access, rectify, erase, or port their data. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@claimory.io. California visitors have the CCPA and CPRA right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money; if you enabled marketing cookies, disabling them with the "Cookie preferences" link is your opt-out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may also submit a request using the same address.
5. Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics 4, and Claimory's own first-party analytics is retained for up to 90 days, after which it is deleted. Necessary session cookies expire when you close the browser. Your cookie-consent preference itself persists in your browser's local storage until you change it or clear site data.
6. How to Change Your Preferences
You can review and update your cookie choices at any time. Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer, or open the preference panel directly:
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you decline cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how companies should respond to them. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this Policy to reflect our compliance. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and do not load analytics or marketing cookies.
8. More Detail
For the full description of how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information, read our Privacy Policy (Section 9 covers cookies and tracking technologies in detail) and our Terms of Service.
