How estimate import works, by estimator

Three estimators, two file formats, one workflow once the estimate is in Claimory.

    CCC ONE

    XML import

Export the estimate XML from CCC ONE. Drop it into Claimory. Line items, parts, labor ops, and totals parse into the claim record. Review side-by-side, save. No live API, no two-way sync, no carrier data feed.

Accuracy: Exact line items, labor hours, and dollar values preserved.

    Mitchell Cloud Estimating

    XML import

Same flow as CCC ONE. Export the estimate XML from Mitchell. Claimory parses every line into the claim. Keep writing in Mitchell. Claimory picks up the rest of the claim from the moment the estimate exists.

Accuracy: Exact line items, labor hours, and dollar values preserved.

    Audatex Estimating

    PDF import

No XML export available from Audatex, so import runs through the AI document parser. Drop the estimate PDF into the claim. The parser reads the line items, labor ops, and totals into structured data. Operator reviews before save.

Accuracy: High accuracy on standard estimate layouts. Operator confirms before save. Edge cases (handwritten amendments, scanned PDFs) flag for manual review.

What happens after the estimate is in

Import is the start. The value is everything Claimory does next, automatically.

    Claim record created or attached

The parsed estimate becomes a claim record, or attaches to an existing claim if you opened one first. Carrier, customer, vehicle, and totals link in one timeline.

Claim Audit runs on the lines

Claimory AI reads every line and flags missed labor ops, blend time, R&I, and supplement opportunities the estimator may have left on the table. Output is a suggestion list, not auto-applied changes.

    Supplement workflow activates

Aging clock starts when the supplement is opened. AI drafts the follow-up email in your shop's voice. Thresholds you set surface anything sitting too long.

    Customer portal goes live

Token QR portal generates the moment the claim exists. Print, hand it to the customer, they scan and see live status, photos, and ETAs without a login.

    Honest answers about estimate import

Does Claimory have an API integration with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex?

No. There is no live API integration with any of the three. The honest connection is one-way estimate import. CCC ONE and Mitchell export to XML, which Claimory reads. Audatex exports to PDF, which Claimory's AI document parser reads. There is no two-way data sync, no live status mirroring, and no carrier feed pulled from the estimating tool.

If there is no API, what is the actual workflow?

You keep writing estimates in CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex exactly as you do today. When the estimate is written, you export it (XML for CCC/Mitchell, PDF for Audatex) and drop the file into the relevant claim in Claimory. The line items parse in. You confirm. The claim is now live in Claimory and every workflow that follows the estimate (supplements, customer portal, adjuster emails, payments) runs from there.

Why not build a real API integration?

CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex have not opened production-grade APIs for third-party platforms to read estimate data live. We watch closely and will ship a real integration the moment one becomes available. Until then, one-way import is the honest answer. We do not want to advertise integration we cannot deliver.

How accurate is the Audatex PDF parser?

High on standard estimate layouts (default Audatex Estimating templates, typed line items, standard labor ops). Lower on heavily customized templates, scanned PDFs, or handwritten supplements. Every parse goes to the operator for review before save. If a field is unreadable, the parser flags it for manual entry rather than silently writing a wrong value.

Do I have to import every claim manually?

Yes. Estimate import is operator-initiated. You drop the file when you are ready. Claimory does not auto-pull anything from your estimator. This is by design: we will not claim live sync we do not have.

Will switching to Claimory mean I have to stop using CCC ONE or Mitchell?

No. Claimory is purpose-built to pair with the estimator you already use. We do not replace estimating. We run the operational layer above it: claims, supplements, customer communication, team workflow, and per-claim financials. Keep your estimator.

What if my shop uses a different estimating tool entirely?

If your estimator can export a PDF of the estimate, the AI document parser can read it. Accuracy varies by layout. Contact support if you want us to test a sample export from your estimator before you commit.
